About Heather Dunn, MA, LPCS, LMFTS

Hello!

In High School I discovered my passion for helping others.  Since then, life has created opportunities for me to share this passion in a variety of settings, including a residential treatment center, a domestic violence shelter, and now in private practice.

About Me

In 2005, to be close to family, we moved to Pearland from Colorado.  This sense of connection and community is important to me.   My husband, two kids and I enjoy being active and outside – camping, biking, and exploring state parks.

My Approach to Counseling

You are the expert and have the answers within you.  I will offer you individualized services that meet your current emotional needs, address baggage from your past, and keep you focused on your goals for your future.  Diversity is valued. All will be welcomed and accepted as they are, for who they are.

Advanced Training and Certifications

  • BS is in Child and Family Studies and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
  • MA is in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Colorado, Denver.

The populations I work with include adult survivors of trauma, complex PTD, depression, and anxiety.
